Imagine if the government began tracking down conscientious objectors, doctors who refused to commit an abortion, and placed them on a government blacklist. Well, that is exactly what is happening in Spain. The prime minster is threatening provinces promising that “appropriate legal mechanisms will be activated to enforce their compliance.” If they refuse to track doctors, that won’t abort babies. This happens following a new government regulation requiring all of Spain’s public hospitals to commit abortions after many doctors simply refused to offer them. Maybe the government in Spain could learn a thing or two if they took the time to speak with the doctors that aren’t comfortable with killing an unborn baby.
