New Legislation to Curb Chemical Abortion

Bradley Mattes   |   November 07, 2019

The number of chemical abortion pill procedures has risen sharply. To help save unborn babies and protect their mothers, Susan B Anthony List Government Affairs team has worked with Congressman Robert E. Latta from Ohio on key legislation to combat this chemical abortion plague.  It’s called the Support and Value Expectant Moms and Babies Act which has three goals.  To prevent approval of the new abortion drugs by the USFDA, prevent the loosening of FDA regulation of already-approved drugs, and prevent more from being dispensed remotely by mail through telemedicine.  Chemical abortion is the latest frontline in the battle to end abortion; besides killing the baby, it’s more dangerous to the mother and easier to snare unsuspecting women.
