Jaques de Vos

I was recently in South Africa on a lecture tour where everyone was talking about Doctor Jacque De Vos, a brilliant young doctor whose career has been in limbo for over two years.  What crime has he committed?  He told a nineteen-week pregnant patient that she’d be killing a human being if she had an abortion.  Dr. De Vos is being punished for providing medically accurate, compassionate and professional care for his patients.  Pro-abortion bureaucrats overstepped their authority, and now that their case is coming unraveled, they won’t even tell the doctor what he did wrong – hoping the problem will go away.  That’s not going to happen, and every day they delay, it’s going to get worse for the liars and accusers.  South Africa needs more doctors like him.
