Churches have an important responsibility to share the truth with their congregations. This week on Straight Talk on Life Issues Bo Linam, Brad Dacus, and Pastor Peter Mordh share the importance of church involvement in the pro-life movement. You will learn how your church family can get connected in the pro-life movement and help protect women and their unborn children from the evils of abortion.

Abortion and the Church
Abortion is one of the most controversial issues of our day. So it’s no surprise that members of the church aren’t unified when it comes to this issue. This week’s guests include members of the church who support differing sides of the abortion debate:
Pacific Justice Institute
As a legal non-profit, our mission is to defend – without charge – the religious freedoms, parental rights, and other civil liberties of people who cannot defend themselves. We work diligently to provide our clients with dedicated, exceptional legal support completely funded by our generous supporters.
No Woman Stands Alone
In a post-Roe America, it is absolutely vital that the Church be engaged and active. If pastors understood the opportunity for ministry to hurting and troubled hearts impacted by pregnancy and abortion, they’d jump on board with both feet. The abortion industry isn’t there to pick up the pieces of shattered lives, but God’s Church is.
The Truth about the Church and Abortion
Planned Parenthood likes to act as an authority on many things—sexuality, so-called “reproductive rights” and preventing pregnancy.
In a Pastoral Letter to Patients issued from the Clergy Advocacy Board by Planned Parenthood Federation of America, it states:
“Many people wrongly assume that all religious leaders disapprove of abortion.”
“No one should be allowed to force their faith teachings on anyone else.”
This letter is Planned Parenthood’s attempt to nullify a woman’s conscience and misconstrue abortion as morally right.
