Humble Beginnings Can Lead to Greatness
Why would God present the King of kings and Lord of lords to the world wrapped in dirty poverty? Mary’s pregnancy and birth were anything but royal. Can you imagine the dirt, the dust, and the smell imbedded into that less than modest stable over years of use? It must have been pretty bad if no previous arrivals to Bethlehem, also desperate for lodging, snapped it up before the parents of our Savior settled in. But humble beginnings can lead to greatness.

Christmas a Time for Hope
Christmas is a time for HOPE, so I want to share this story. It was a favorite custom of the sidewalk counselors in front of the Planned Parenthood abortion facility. In December about fifty of them were singing Christmas carols. Some women passed by as if not to notice, but the group had hope the Holy Spirit would use their voices to touch the hearts of abortion-bound women.

Dolli Neikirk has always had a passion for the pro-life movement and protecting the unborn. She became Executive Director for Lifehouse Maternity Home in 2019. Dolli uses her life verse, “As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord,” Joshua 24:15 to influence every aspect of her daily life as a wife, mother, and employee.
Faith Cintron started her career as a live-in housemother at Cornerstone Young Women’s Learning Center in IL. In 2016, she began working for Aid for Women.
She spends time one on one getting to know every woman and child who lives in the homes, helping them navigate everything from relearning basic hygiene to maintaining sobriety.
