Christmas is a time for HOPE, so I want to share this story. It was a favorite custom of the sidewalk counselors in front of the Planned Parenthood abortion facility. In December about fifty of them were singing Christmas carols. Some women passed by as if not to notice, but the group had hope the Holy Spirit would use their voices to touch the hearts of abortion-bound women. Then it happened, as they were about to leave, they noticed a woman sitting in her car listening to the carolers. As she left she told them she had changed her mind and asked for prayer. Romans 12:12 is good advice for these carolers. “Be joyful in HOPE, patient in affliction, faithful in prayer.” Before they left, the group sang Joy to the World.
