If you’re like me, Christmas is the best day ever! It’s okay to decorate, host parties, gather with family, and exchange gifts. They’re great fun and bring joy to our hearts and to those we love. As we do them, I’m reminded that the lights on our house and Christmas trees, we have three, show that Jesus is the light of the world. The parties are an example of the joy of friendship our Savior brings to the hearts of those who love him. While gathering with family I’m overwhelmed by the blessings the Author of Life has brought into our world. And our gift exchange reminds us that the best gift of all is the gift of eternal life through that baby in the dirty manger. This is my recipe for a joy-filled and wonderful Christmas. May it be yours. Merry Christmas everyone!
