A great deal of misinformation and outright lies is circulating since Roe v Wade was overturned. “Roe v Wade was overturned.” I love typing those words!
We want to help keep you informed in the midst of this historic event and equip you to effectively engage on behalf of the unborn.
Here is a partial list of false statements by abortion advocates and what your response can be to each.
This is an outrage, a vast majority of Americas support abortion!
Our advice: “Relax.” The Court’s action doesn’t outlaw abortion, it simply returns decision making to individual states where the so-called “vast majority” reside. The truth is pro-abortion activists and politicians greatly overstate America’s support for abortion – and they know it. During the first five months of 2021, 489 pro-life bills were passed. Pro-life Americans are in the majority, and it shows.
Now that the Court has taken away our right to abortion, they will take away our rights to contraception and same-sex marriage. Some even claim the Court will ban interracial marriage.
Justice Alito wrote in his majority opinion, “we have stated unequivocally that [n]othing in this opinion should be understood to cast doubt on precedents that do not concern abortion.” He specifically referenced contraception and same-sex relationships as examples.
Thousands of women will die without access to abortion.
The opposite is true. Women and their babies will thrive without abortion. Poland passed legislation ending most abortions and women’s health improved in all monitored categories. Croatia experienced similar improvements in women’s health.
Conservatives on the Court and the Republican Party are taking women back in time.
It is the feminists and other pro-abortion activists who want to take women back. Roe is based on science and medicine that is over a half-century old. Amazing advancements like 4D ultrasound and fetal surgery attest to the beauty and wonderment of the child developing in the womb. Today’s women will not go back in time to the twisted notion that abortion until birth is the ideal.
The US Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe has made America an embarrassment to the rest of the world.
The Court actually freed our nation from a humiliating legal decision that has been criticized by many academic liberal elites including former justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The right to abortion is not found in the constitution.
Further, 96% of all progressive European nations limit abortion to before 15 weeks. Most limit it to 12 weeks. No European nation allows elective abortion through all nine months of pregnancy like the US. Overturning Roe means we’re merely catching up with the rest of the world.
Denying poor women abortion will increase poverty and economic woes in our nation.
Any economic cost from denying women abortions is far and away eclipsed by abortion’s negative impact on our nation’s economy. Senate Republicans on the Congressional Joint Economic Committee issued a report on abortion’s impact on the American economy. They found a $6.9 trillion negative impact in 2019 alone, representing 32% of the gross domestic product (GDP).
A philosophy of “abort the poor” smacks of eugenics that wants to weed out the less-desirables and it should be soundly rejected. Christ said feed the poor, not kill the poor.
“An American woman is 14 times more likely to die by carrying a pregnancy to term than by having an abortion.” Justices Breyer, Sotomayor, and Kagan in their dissent.
Several states do not report abortion statistics, and those that do release inconsistent data. 11 studies in countries that keep adequate data on pregnancy and their outcomes show that women who have abortions have a much higher mortality rate than women who give birth.

No pro-life legislation criminally penalizes women. They are seen as the victims. Approximately 3,000 pro-life pregnancy help centers offer a wide range of free resources to women and men facing an unexpected pregnancy. Resources that include help with rent, food, utilities, and aid in furthering their education. These free services are designed to empower women, not control them. Ask anyone when was the last time a woman went to Planned Parenthood and received these resources? Never.
The battle continues.
Already the ACLU of Arizona is suing to stop pro-life legislation, and a Civil District Court Judge issued a temporary block on three pro-life laws in Louisiana. Radical Left pro-abortion activists are unable to advance their abortion agenda by a vote of the people, so they attempt to inflict their will on us through sympathetic judges and courts. We can expect to see more such judicial harassment, so we will have to fight for every life saved.
One of my favorite quotes was by pro-abortion feminist Jill Filipovic who tweeted, “We told you, we told you, we told you. THEY told you.” Meaning the pro-lifers. This is one statement I believe is true. We told anyone who would listen that abortion was not supported by the Constitution and that we would dedicate our lives to work for the day that Roe v Wade was finally relegated to the ash heap of history where it belonged – a tragic black mark on America’s history.
That day has come, but the work continues until every innocent human life is protected from the moment of fertilization to natural death. We’ve been telling them that also.

Can we not hammer home the scientific fact that what is growing inside a pregnant woman is NOT part of her body but a new, distinct, unique living human being in its early stage of development, with its own unique DNA which is NOT the same as that of the mother? This is the elephant in the room which the pro-abortionists refuse to acknowledge, and which is totally lacking from mainstream media and discussions.
Thank you once again dear Brad for speaking the truth. You spoke for all those who give of their time, efforts and money to support women in their local cities. WHY would they do this?? Because they want to help any woman who enters their doors. They are not there to lie to them but to give them answers that they are truthfully seeking. I remember one of my women who went for an abortion. Afterwards she could not get over it. I suggested that she go back to the abortion clinic and get her papers of the abortion and then she could dispose of them, helping her to try and end a memory. She asked that I come with her as her spokesman. So I went. It was the 1st time I had ever been in an abortion clinic. As I walked in the door there was a sign “NO BABIES allowed”. Which I then added in my mind … “Only those carried within the womb.” The woman who we spoke to said that they could not give out papers.” I told them it was a law in MI (I had checked and had the paper in my hand) that a patient is allowed to have her information. She asked me to come back the next day. We did go and the abortion doctor greeted me and the woman telling us that the papers were at his home. He wanted to know if I was her attorney, I said. “NO, just a friend!” The next day we returned and she was given her papers. Then we returned to our clinic where an R.N. was one of our volunteers. She read the papers over for the woman and found out that she did NOT ever have an abortion.. The test had run negative! To be certain, the R.N. called the place that officially said “There was no abortion.” This woman had grieved and had been tormented in her mind being told she had an abortion and she had paid for it. It became clear to me that if this happened just once, it has happened many times due to the greed of the abortionist for money. This is what happens in our giving of our time freely to help women AND MEN through the aftermath of abortions.

I’m not embarrassed about the Roe v Wade reversal. For these decades past my soul and spirit has been vexed and grieved by the loss of unwanted babies to the horror of an abortion and the victimization of men and women by the multitrillion[dollar] abortion [industry] whose only skill and purpose is to brutally murder babies in the the once sacred women’s womb. I have personal experience with an unwanted pregnancy which ended in abortion, the worse choice of free exercise in my life. Like no thank you, I am not a woman who thinks abortion is my right. Abortion was my wrong and I can never undo it. The tremendous grief I felt led me to God. What had I done? I murdered and got away with it! I didn’t get free of my guilt until I admitted to God my wrong and He heard me! I stopped grieving and felt a peace I have never known. Jesus forgives sin. So, I am relieved that the high court of the land decided there has been enough innocent bloodshed.
Women have their whole life to accomplish their goals.You gotta want a successful future more than unmarried sex. Your gotta chose before you have sex not after. Women, you have to take stewardship of your body ’cause guys won’t. They aren’t the ones who get pregnant or have periods. It is up to a woman to guard her body and not hand it to any man whose only goal is to have sex without matrimony. Women’s reproductive right is to tell a man no sex without marriage. He has no right unless you give it to him. Be in control of your body and respect your need to protect your body. Draw a line with men. If you give into sex he will never respect you ever again.

Thank you for this timely information which I immediately forwarded to our Pastor. I know there are those within our own congregations that are upset with the decision and are “pro-choice”. It grieves me greatly that a fellow Christian has fallen for the lie and condones child sacrifice at the altar of abortion. Something that also grieves me is the fact that the “choice” actually comes before the baby, and that is the choice to have illicit, immoral sex, and then the choice to do so without birth control. I recently read of a young woman who has had 26 abortions and she is only 30!! Truly, that is the devil devouring her soul. We must hold these women in prayer and ask the Holy Spirit to enter their hearts.
