Hundreds with Down Syndrome Aborted

New UK government statistics reveal a heartbreaking truth: in 2023, 735 unborn babies were aborted simply because they were diagnosed with Down syndrome, an increase from prior years and part of over 3,200 disability-selective abortions.

These aren’t just numbers, they are real children made in God’s image, each deserving protection, dignity, and love. Our society champions disability rights after birth, yet before birth, babies with conditions like Down syndrome are too often discarded instead of cherished.

We must call for laws that protect all human life, support families facing challenging diagnoses, and affirm that every child, regardless of ability, has an equal right to live.
