More Twins

Here’s a fun development to come out of the last vigil held by 40 Days for Life.  The group held their spring event outside of abortion centers throughout the nation and around the world.  But this year was different.  They experienced more twins saved by their efforts.  A total of five sets of twins were spared a violent death by abortion.  And their mothers and fathers avoided the emotionally devastating horrors it often inflicts.  Experience shows that twins capture the hearts of women facing an unexpected pregnancy more than a singleton.  Twins humanize the unborn in ways one baby cannot.  Sad as it is, that’s the reality.  Shawn Carney, president of 40 Days for Life says, “It never gets old.  Human nature kicks in and all of a sudden these are your children.”
