Yesterday the Supreme Court held oral arguments on the lawsuit against the FDA’s political and sloppy approval of the chemical abortion pill. When a justice asked the FDA’s attorney if any individual had standing to sue the FDA, the response was no. It thinks it’s untouchable. When asked if the five hundred percent increase in emergency room visits after dropping crucial protections for women should be taken into account, again the answer was no. Danco, makers of the pills was pressed by Justice Alito who made clear their primary interest in this case is their financial bottom line based on sales of the pill. The attorney challenging the FDA correctly asserted mail order abortion pills have turned emergency rooms into follow up visits for the dangerous drug. Please keep this in your prayers.
