Ashley Payne has a passion for helping pregnant women and their babies. She has some experience in this field as a mother of seven. So, Ashley decided to channel her passion into becoming a nurse and midwife. She graduated this summer from college as valedictorian at Keiser University Lakeland with a Bachelor of Science in nursing. In her valedictory speech Ashley said her children were her “motivation and inspiration.” She also shared that Lorelai, her oldest daughter, left a note of encouragement that read, “Aim for the moon, if you miss, you may hit a star.” She will go for her Master of Science in nurse-midwifery at Bethel University in Minnesota. Just like Ashley, we should be open to God’s will for our lives beyond when we think that goal has been realized.
