History shows that sooner or later purveyors of death such as Adolph Hitler, Vladimir Lenin, and Jeffry Dahmer ultimately faced their own demise. Abortionists who have collectively taken the lives of tens of thousands of unborn babies and maimed or killed many of their mothers, are no exception. At some point in time, their lives will also be asked of them.
Here are three such men.
It has been said that abortionists are the bottom feeders of the medical profession.
Those who lack the skills necessary to maintain a credible medical practice but are adept at earning a lucrative income immersed in the abortion industry until they die.
Thomas Gordon, a Grand Rapids, Michigan abortionist, faced his maker last week. Pro-life sidewalk counselors say he aborted babies up to and on the day he died. Gordon had a particularly seedy history, which isn’t uncommon for recalcitrant abortionists.
Gordon’s criminal past includes:
- 1991 conviction of aggravated assault.
- His wife filed a protection order in 2010, accusing him of beating her and holding a gun to her head.
- Pled guilty in 2011 to possession of a firearm while under the influence, and domestic violence.
- Pled guilty in 2015 to driving while intoxicated.
- Pled guilty in 2015 to domestic violence (second time).
- Medical license suspended in 2017.
Was his violence toward women and issues with alcohol collateral damage of being an abortionist?
Leroy Carhart of Omaha, Nebraska dealt in the horrifying practice of late-term abortion. His namesake was Gonzales v. Carhart, a landmark 2007 decision of the US Supreme Court that upheld the Partial-Birth Abortion Ban Act.
Carhart, in often unvarnished ways oozed the disgusting realities of his profession. He was on record stating, “I think that it is a baby.” But during an undercover consultation with a woman who was 26 weeks pregnant, he said that once her baby was dead inside of her this child will be like “meat in a crockpot.”
Carhart often bragged that he took the lives of 30,000 babies but was less forthcoming about the women he maimed and killed. Jennifer Morbelli, who was 33 weeks pregnant died at Carhart’s hands due to amniotic fluid embolism, the presence of amniotic fluid in her bloodstream and blood clots. But her death was ruled “natural” and he was never held accountable.
Christin Gilbert, a young woman with Down syndrome died an agonizing death from sepsis after her third-trimester abortion. Carhart demonstrated a total lack of concern and accountability for her suffering and death.
There have been 23 documented medical emergencies at his abortion facilities.
George Tiller, aka Tiller the Killer, also specialized in late-term abortion. His facility had an on-site crematorium to dispose of the babies’ bodies. Ashes of the incinerated children – that spewed from the oven’s stack – would settle on pro-life sidewalk counselors and their signs. Staff say Tiller labored under the weight of boxes filled with dead babies on his way to transporting them to the oven. Tiller was murdered by Scott Roeder in 2009 while at his church.
His death was lamented by local pro-life advocates who believed that Tiller was soon to be held accountable by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts. It had plans to move forward with a disciplinary petition on 11 accusations the board filed against Tiller.
These three men were collectively responsible for killing countless unborn babies, plus the mutilation and deaths of many of their mothers. It is to be celebrated that the killing has ceased with their deaths, but their demise also represents three failures.
By all apparent accounts these abortionists remained defiant to the end, determined that their bloody rampage against babies and women was justified. Three souls likely lost to the flames and the father of lies. Lies continually whispered in their ears that abortion is for the common good.
