Shortly after announcing his bid for the White House, pro-life Florida Governor Ron DeSantis addressed the importance of increasing the number of pro-life Supreme Court justices. He said, in the future we could be having to replace Clarence Thomas and Samuel Alito. The Governor stated, “And the issue with that is you can’t really do better than those two. They are the gold standard for jurisprudence.” DeSantis cautioned against adding more justices in the vein of John Roberts saying the Court would “move to the left, and you can’t do that.” Governor DeSantis changed Florida from being the late-term abortion capitol of the South Atlantic to protecting babies with heartbeats. As other presidential candidates declare their stand on abortion, I’ll strive to share them with you.
