Sometimes it’s the seemingly unimportant things that impact the heart and mind of a woman faced with an unexpected pregnancy.  Confronted with extreme pressure by her mother and others to abort, Deborah Mc Clue made an appointment at Planned Parenthood, but circumstances required her to delay the procedure.  Then it happened.  She remembered watching a film in a high school biology class.  It was called The Miracle of Life.  Her friend got a copy, and she watched it again.  Deborah said, “Everything just clicked for me.  I knew I was carrying a living human being who already had a heartbeat.  I just couldn’t go through with the abortion.”  Instead, she made arrangements for an open adoption.  Never underestimate the impact you and events can have on a struggling heart.
