Fact Checking Congress

Pro-abortion politicians in Congress got a healthy dose of the facts when Dr. Monique Wubbenhorst testified before their committee. She’s a black woman who’s been an OB/GYN for over 30 years, with global experience providing healthcare to poor areas. The doctor said, “Abortion not only poses risk to the mother. It is always lethal to an unborn child. It is my opinion that abortion is not healthcare. It has instead as its goal the death of a human being.”  Addressing the claims that abortion restrictions and maternal mortality are linked, Dr. Wubbenhorst said, “It seems to me to be difficult to reconcile the fact that black women have the highest rates of maternal mortality and the highest rates of abortion at the same time.”  Yes, a dose of reality.
