It’s a touchy subject and not often approached, but in truth many women and men use abortion as a method of birth control. If the preferred method fails or they don’t use it, abortion will bail them out. Rebecca White recently wrote an article titled I Had a Carefree Sex Life. The Next Generation Will Have Fear. The content isn’t for family radio, so let me just say she led a vigorous and carefree lifestyle, knowing abortion was there if and when she needed it. As many states enact legislation to end the killing of unborn babies, we’re seeing a shift in how people approach intimacy. I’ve mentioned in a previous commentary how doctors are seeing more people opt for permanent or long-term contraception. Instead, I pray that we see a growing trend of abstinence until marriage.
