The reversal of Roe v Wade has given birth to a new development. No pun intended. Doctors across the country are reporting an increase in number of people opting for permanent sterilization. Twenty-five-year-old Dani Marietti of Montana is one of them. She doesn’t want children and knows she can no longer count on abortion as a method of birth control. She held a shower of sorts where Dani and friends bid farewell to her fallopian tubes and ate cookies with pro-abortion slogans like “My body, my choice” iced on them. Some doctors are expressing concern that they’ll regret making a permanent decision. True, but after nearly fifty years fewer people will be relying on abortion as their method of family planning. Something we predicted would happen all along.
