Governor Whitmer Attacks Adoption

Michigan’s governor, Gretchen Whitmer, is another example of a politician absolutely dedicated to unrestrained abortion.  In the state budget she line-item vetoed essential funding to support adoption.  Yes, adoption!  Whitmer vetoed tax credits to adoptive parents, and a marketing fund for programs to promote the adoption of infants and to develop educational information on adoption.  She also vetoed funding for pro-life pregnancy centers that offer free services to women who desperately need them.  Governor Whitmer claims to be all about choice but prevents pregnant women and prospective parents from exercising their choice, unless of course it’s for abortion.  Adoption impacts the financial bottom line of the abortion industry and she’s zealously protecting it.
