One person can make a huge difference. A Montgomery, Alabama OB/GYN founded Life on Wheels, a mobile unit that provides free ultrasounds to women considering abortion. To date Dr. Matthew Phillips and his group have saved over 350 babies, while supporting the mothers. Their goal is to empower women, which includes resources after they give birth. They link mothers to local pregnancy centers and other charities that can help them. Life on Wheels provided two months of rent for one mother and helped her get her job back. Dr. Phillips says, “We’re not angry. We love the woman. We love the baby.” Their goal – “to love women where they are and meet them where they are.” Countless pro-lifers are quietly helping women because it’s Christ’s calling on their hearts.
