I recently traveled to Ottawa, Canada for their National March for Life. There was a noisy but limited group of pro-abortion protestors. They and others in America spew venomous and threatening chants, and their anger is palpable. But as other pro-life writers have pointed out, there’s a great sadness behind their vicious slogans. Many have personally experienced abortion, and a reversal of Roe would undermine their certainty that abortion is good. They desperately try to justify taking the lives of their children. But God made women to give birth and nurture their babies. Fathers are given a desire to provide for and protect their offspring. Abortion damages these God-given instincts, and their resultant grief is expressed in profound anger. Please pray for all the victims of abortion.
