An extreme pro-abortion organization that publicized the home addresses of Supreme Court Justices calls themselves Ruth Sent Us, in reference to former pro-abortion Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Their name is misplaced though because Ginsburg was an open critic of Roe v Wade. She supported Roe but called it “heavy-handed judicial intervention [that] was difficult to justify and appears to have provoked, not resolved, conflict.” Ginsburg also said, “Roe isn’t really about the woman’s choice, is it? “It’s about the doctor’s freedom to practice…it wasn’t woman-centered, it was physician-centered.” Maybe this new pro-abortion group should call themselves The New York Times sent us, or Planned Parenthood sent us. That would be a far more realistic representation of the cause.
