Court Forever Changed

It caught everyone off guard because in the history of the Supreme Court it’s likely never happened before.  A rogue person leaked a draft of a monumentally important decision on abortion.  Over the years, in spite of looking upon the Court with sadness, I have admired their ability to avoid leaks while dealing with crucial issues.  Every Supreme Court Justice, their clerks, and staff must be reeling from this development.  All, of course, except for the guilty party.  Here’s my fantasy response.  If the document is legit, Roe is gone, so the opposing justices could make the strongest statement ever.  They could make the decision unanimous and show that this type of behavior will not be tolerated.  That’s not likely to happen but the way this Court does business will be forever changed.
