Francesca was born at just 24-weeks gestation. Her feet were the size of pennies. Doctors warned the parents that if she lived, Francesca would never walk or talk properly. She had plenty of battles with meningitis, pneumonia, sepsis, two collapsed lungs, acute kidney injury and sixteen blood transfusions. Even so, the doctors couldn’t have been more wrong in their prediction. Francesca started primary school this year, wearing clothes two years above her age group. Victoria, her mom said, “From the minute she opened her eyes, she’s a constant ball of energy. Now we can’t get her to sit still or to be quiet.” This story shows how much God values human life. Our job is to follow His example and leave the details up to the One who created her.
