Just a Cultural Norm

During a recent CNN town hall, President Biden made a shocking statement.  China is committing eradication against its Uyghur ethnic minority by forcing women to undergo multiple abortions and sterilization.  Millions have been confined at camps.  The Trump administration called these actions “genocide” and “crimes against humanity,” and leveled sanctions against China for them.  During the town hall, Mr. Biden said he wouldn’t speak out against China’s horrific actions, calling them a mere “cultural norm.”  Critics have accused the new President of harboring “bigotry masquerading as cultural sensitivity.”  Imagine if America hadn’t spoken out and acted against the Jewish concentration camps and all that was going on in them.  We need a president who respects human life.
