Milwaukee University a Shining Example

Single mothers who are college students graduate at less than half the rate of women without children.  So, Mount Mary University in Milwaukee is doing something about it.  This summer they’ll break ground on four new buildings, one housing dorm rooms for single mothers.  And there’ll be a daycare and close access to a medical facility, salon, exercise equipment, dining services and a chapel.  This women’s university already provides a variety of other resources to students who are single mothers.  It is a shining example for the nation’s other universities and colleges to assist struggling young women who represent the largest segment of those having abortions.  This empowers them to say yes to life and shows that our movement is both pro-life and pro-woman.
