The Kids Need You

Carly and John Souza have seven children – two by birth and five by foster care adoption.  Carly’s story is perfect for this week of special programming on foster care and adoption.  She leads Fostering Hope, a church-based ministry in Las Vegas.  They come alongside churches to grow the number of foster families, bring awareness and education, and help with practical needs of local agencies.  There’s about a half-million foster kids in the system and over a quarter of them have experienced four or more placements.  Imagine the impact on these children.  Many age out of foster care with no parenting or mentoring.  Please, prayerfully consider being a foster parent.  The kids need you.  Visit lifeissues.org and click on the top banner for information and details.
