Imagine being told, “Go, spread your wings!” Imagine the terror of having to face this world with few if any skills. Nobody was there to mentor you through childhood. No safety net to help you transition to fending for yourself. There’s one place called Kentucky RISE that assists young adults to get a driver’s license, apartment, or healthcare. The list can seem endless. I’m telling you about this oasis for foster kids, praying that someone listening will feel God’s tug on their heart and jump in with both feet.
