Gallup is one of the most respected polling firms in the nation. For over two decades they’ve followed trends when it comes to single-issue voting on abortion. A recent poll shows one in four voters believe abortion is a key issue. Of those, 30% vote pro-life, and 19% are pro-abortion. So pro-life single-issue voters outpace pro-abortion voters by 11 percentage points. This means if you only vote for candidates who’ll protect the lives of America’s unborn babies and their mothers, you’re in good company. I wouldn’t vote a dog catcher into office unless he or she was pro-life, because many politicians climb the political ladder of success. And even the most unassuming start may end up making life or death decisions for the babies.
