Missouri’s governor, Mike Parson, recently signed their budget, and what’s in it should interest you. It includes millions in funding for the state Alternatives to Abortion Program. This program provides funding to pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes throughout Missouri. As a result, women get free pregnancy tests, prenatal care, and the crucial basics like diapers and cribs. They also receive clothing, food, temporary shelter, job training, other counseling and more for families in need. Abortion supporters accuse pro-lifers of not caring about the babies and their families after birth. Missouri’s state budget is proof positive that we protect the unborn and their mothers, and also care for them after birth. God bless the state legislature and Governor Parson.
