Bernie’s Abortion Bucket List

The campaign website of presidential candidate Bernie Sanders has gone the extra mile explaining how he plans to deal with the abortion issue if elected.  It’s the first presidential candidate in memory who’s laid out his goals in such detail.  Under Medicare for All, abortion will be provided free.  He will significantly expand funding for Planned Parenthood, and fill judicial vacancies with only judges who will protect abortion at every level.  Sanders will use executive authority to undo all the actions of Donald Trump on abortion.  He will codify Roe v Wade in legislation, ban pro-life state laws, and require states to get preclearance for laws regarding abortion.  Pro-life pregnancy centers will not get federal funding and he’ll ban abstinence-only sex education.
