If you watched President Trump’s State of the Union address, you were introduced to Ellie Schneider and her mother, Robin. What makes Ellie so special is she was born just twenty-one weeks and six days – about half-way through – her mother’s pregnancy. The President used this now two-year-old child to demonstrate the sanctity of life. “I am calling upon the Members of Congress here tonight to pass legislation finally banning the late-term abortion of babies,” the President said. Then adding, “Whether we are Republican, Democrat or Independent, surely we must all agree that every human life is a sacred gift from God.” This is a president who’s not afraid to stand up for those too tiny to defend themselves – our unborn citizens.
