I recently spoke at a rally in Tampa, Florida kicking off efforts to identify pro-life households in the state. One of the speakers was Ana Hidalgo Stooks, a Cuban American, who said many Hispanics and minorities have been fooled by pro-abortion politicians. She said they have an agenda of “violence and destruction of the family.” Ana has never met a woman who regretted having her baby, but she’s met hundreds who suffered in the aftermath of an abortion and passionately said, “We have got to give [minority] women and all women the belief she can do it, she can triumph.” This is a message we need to always give at-risk women and men, not just during a political campaign and election. This is God’s message of love all year long.
