Liberal Touts Trump Nominees

Ian Millhiser is a liberal reporter at Vox, and he’s taken a close look at President Trump’s court nominees.  He said, “No president…has done more to change the judiciary…than Donald Trump.”  And he added the President’s done more in less than three years than Obama did in eight.  As for their qualifications, Millhiser stated they’re “some of the smartest,” citing they’re “leading academics, Supreme Court litigators and…prominent judges.”  A key measurement of a lawyer’s abilities is their ability to secure a federal clerkship, including for the Supreme Court.  Trump’s nominees outshine Obama’s by about two to one.  Millhiser stated “the average Trump appointee has a far more impressive resume” than his predecessors.  Yes, elections have consequences.
