My heart aches when I hear pro-abortion advocates coldly say women aren’t harmed by the procedure, but better off because of it. I know that’s not true because I’ve spoken to many women and men who bear the physical and emotional scars of abortion. Catherine Mousley attempted suicide twice after the abortion of her baby. Her darkest moments came after she gave birth to her son, Jake. This should be a mother’s happiest time, but Catherine couldn’t bond with her son, feeling like she was a failure as a mother because she aborted her first baby. Thankfully she found healing and now writes online about her experience to provide comfort to others. If you’re struggling with an abortion, contact me at lifeissues.org. We can help.
