Filling the Void of Planned Parenthood

Bradley Mattes   |   May 23, 2019

When Planned Parenthood of Southwest and Central Florida closed, the local Immokalee Pregnancy Center, saw a more than threefold increase in clients.  This small center, in a very poor community, had to grow to keep up with the demand, and grow they did.  It’s now a medical clinic with a staff nurse who does obstetrical ultrasounds.  In addition to this and pregnancy testing, their other free services include peer counseling, parenting classes, local referrals and support for those who make an adoption plan.  It’s truly a beautiful thing to see God supporting and providing for those who serve the least among us.  If you’d like to support your local pro-life pregnancy center, please contact me at life issues dot org and we’ll get you connected.
