Amanda Davis thought she could expect a safe and easy, first-trimester abortion at Planned Parenthood in Boston. It was anything but. Ongoing abdominal pain and bleeding caused her to make multiple calls to Planned Parenthood that went unanswered. Long story short, after two months, doctors at Massachusetts General discovered the abortionist, Alice Mark, had left three-quarters of the baby in the womb. It took three months for Amanda to recover physically, and she continues to be haunted by the psychological aftereffects. Attempts by her attorney to reach out to Planned Parenthood were ignored, so she’s filed a lawsuit. Her story is all too common. Legal abortion is fraught with the physical and emotional abuse of women.
