Justice Served and Baby Saved

Bradley Mattes   |   March 28, 2019

Students for Life at Fresno State were drawing University-sanctioned, pro-life messages on the sidewalk in chalk when Professor Greg Thatcher led students in wiping them out while declaring, “College campuses are not free speech areas.”  He was wrong and had to pay nearly twenty-six thousand dollars in attorneys fees, plus attend free speech training.  Because the students’ rights were upheld, another student, Jess, was able to visit their information table and given a twelve-week fetal model.  Later when Jess became pregnant, that fetal model helped her say yes to life.  She’s earned a four-point GPA and is now co-vice president of Students for life at Fresno State.  Not only was justice served, at least one life was saved because of their efforts.
