Most of us would have never imagined a day in which any American much less someone in governmental leadership might suggest what is tantamount to infanticide. And yet, the news from New York and now Virginia (and several other states in the same process) are proclaiming this as a rightful decision by any mother.
As a community of faith, we have long advocated that the taking of any human life is wrong … including the life of the pre-born child.
But today, we face a culture willing to allow taking the life of that child not only in the first or second trimester of life but even to full term.
The news is horrifying. What can be done?
Sickening. This makes my mouth taste bitter and absolutely turns my stomach.
