A fake news story attacked pro-life students from a Covington school who attended the March for Life. The video appeared to show them antagonizing a protestor. After a tsunami of knee-jerk reactions against them, further evidence showed the blame didn’t lie with the boys. But that didn’t stop death threats on Twitter against the boys and a bomb threat against the school. Those advocating death and violence against them included Hollywood producer Jack Morrissey and CNN host Reza Aslan. The same Twitter that censored an ultrasound image of an unborn baby let these violent threats stand. This is a good time to remind ourselves that our struggle isn’t against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world and spiritual forces of evil.
