Today, God willing, Ellen and I are spending Christmas with our granddaughters in sunny, warm Florida. We plan to stick our toes into the sand and enjoy the view. You may be spending Christmas in traditional surroundings or somewhere new. You may be spending this special day in the hospital or visiting a loved one there. Maybe you’re in a foreign country or even in harm’s way defending our freedom. Whatever your circumstances, you can experience the joy and exhilaration of Christmas. Grab and hold firmly onto the promise that was made reality when the Word became flesh. The Savior is born! Because of Him we have life, not just the earthly life we work to protect, but eternal life. Have a very Merry Christmas!
