God’s Amazing Plan

There are many reasons we call human reproduction a miracle.  Here are two of them.  Researchers in France found a visible difference in a woman’s brain before and after pregnancy.  They refer to it as the “neglected neurobiology” of the maternal brain.  It involves regions of the brain that affect social interaction, empathy or multitasking.  Another study has demonstrated the likelihood a baby’s intrauterine kicking and touching of his or her surroundings is crucial to mapping the child’s brain.  It’s believed this process ends at birth.  More and more research seems to verify the miracle of fetal life, a detailed plan put into place by God.  We shouldn’t be surprised that His work amazes us.
