Research Show Abstinence Works

The pro-abortion Guttmacher Institute just released a study using reliable government data.  It showed over five years the percentage of high school students who were sexually active dropped by seven percent, an all-time low in over a quarter-century.  The drop involved both genders, all grade levels and ethnic groups.  The study showed teen use of contraceptives remained largely unchanged.  A decline in teen sexual activity actually started in the early nineties and continues to this day, but Guttmacher and others conveniently overlook this important piece of the research.  Abstinence is the reason behind this long-term trend, a word they refuse to use because they’ve been too busy mocking it.  But the truth is abstinence works.
