Pro-lifers in Argentina are celebrating, and with good reason! The nation faced intense international pressure to legalize abortion, including help from billionaire George Soros. With the world watching, and after 16 hours of debate, the Senate said no. They defeated a bill that would’ve legalized abortion on demand throughout the first 14 weeks of an unborn baby’s life. This huge victory was the result of much prayer and hard work. There was a celebration with fireworks, shouts of joy and the waving of baby blue bandannas in front of the parliament in Buenos Aires. Pro-life leaders were worried they’d follow Ireland’s legalization of abortion. But by God’s grace, future generations in Argentina will get to experience life in this beautiful country.
