The average age of a human trafficking victim is only fifteen. This criminal network has grown to epidemic levels. Last year during just one operation the FBI rescued eighty-four underage victims, including an infant. Another was a woman with a master’s degree. Traffickers took advantage of her drug use by supplying illegal, addictive drugs in return for services rendered. Not only are the victims of both sexes all around us, so are those who utilize the so-called services offered. They’re professionals and blue color workers—attorneys, politicians, truck drivers and yes, even pastors. They may be your neighbors or coworkers. Learn more about human trafficking by listening to my half-hour radio special, Victims in the Shadows. Check with this radio station regarding airing.
