Shortage of Brides

Bradley Mattes   |   July 13, 2017

For several decades China has implemented a one-child only policy to reduce its population.  And it’s been brutally enforced with forced abortion, sometimes literally dragging women to abortion mills in their last months of pregnancy.  Now the one-child policy is inflicting havoc on future generations.  China’s culture favors boys, so limited to one child, couples have routinely been using ultrasound to identify the sex of the baby.  Hundreds of millions of unborn girls were aborted or killed as newborns by infanticide.  As a result, there are many more men in China than women.  Experts say in just three years, fifteen-million men who want to get married, won’t be able to because they’ll be unable to find a bride.  Their wives were aborted or killed by infanticide years before.
