Celebrate America and Life

Today we celebrate America.  Today we celebrate the freedoms won by our forefathers and countless service men and women who’ve bled and died to maintain them.  Our Fourth of July celebrations should be fun relaxing and enjoyable.  But there’s also a serious side why we revel in the day.  Our Declaration of Independence, dated 241 years ago today, spoke of some self-evident truths.  “All men are created equal” by our Creator with “certain unalienable rights.”  Then they list them: “Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness.”  Note they listed life the number one right from God Himself.  As a result, only God can decide when to take an innocent human life.  Today, celebrate our right to life because without it, there are no other rights.
