Becky Anderson had to make the hardest decision of her life. The young mother of two was told she was pregnant with twins, but days later was informed she had cervical cancer. Doctors wanted to do a hysterectomy the following week, thus aborting her baby boys. Becky said no and at 30 weeks delivered them by cesarean section and a hysterectomy followed. Buddy and Preselee are now six months old and doing well. Becky is waiting on test results to see if she’s cancer free. She admitted it was a very painful and stressful ordeal, but said, “I wouldn’t change it for the world. They are an absolute joy and I love them very much.” Those of us with children can relate to her burning desire to protect her babies. Similar to how Christ loves us.
