STDs Increase at Alarming Rates

The numbers of sexually transmitted diseases are increasing at an alarming rate.  During the last year statistics were available, the Centers for Disease Control reported nearly two million new cases.  Of concern is not just the increase, but the high rate of increase.  Still, the so-called experts in this field are turning a blind eye to the cause, which is sex outside of marriage.  Here’s a case in point.  There are now phone apps making impersonal, intimate hook-ups easy.  They often don’t even bother to share first names.  Yet Dr. Jonathan Mermin at the CDC says, “there’s no hard evidence to show cause and effect” that this blatant promotion of casual sex increase STDs.  This is utter foolishness.   America’s youth aren’t animals.  We need to encourage them to abstain from premarital sex.
