Who hasn’t put up Christmas lights only to find out some of the bulbs aren’t working. When one light is darkened, it affects the beauty around it. Then comes the difficult task of identifying the source of the darkness, so all can shine again. It’s similar to abortion. When one life is snuffed out, it darkens the beautiful “lights” around the child who grieve and they also lose their glow. Then comes the difficult task of identifying the source of the darkness, work to repair the abortion’s damage and bring light back into the lives of those affected. Of course I’m not comparing human life to Christmas lights, but the symbolism of the Christmas season is not lost on those of us who work to help grieving parents of aborted children. Please pray they regain their light.
